Features and Capabilities

This project contains a number of OpenSpaces demos applications.
These applications have a number of purposes:

• Demonstrate best practices and usage patterns in real (albeit simple) applications
• Provide a showcase of what can be done with GigaSpaces and OpenSpaces.

The project currently includes the following applications:

1. HelloWorld web application - demonstrates how to implement a JEE web application which accesses a remote space using the Spring framework MVC module .
2. Stock Demo - demonstrates a stock feed into a partitioned space with a JEE web application front end. Front end is based on Spring framework MVC module on the server side and ExtJS JavaScript library on the client side. The library is used to show stock updates in near real time.
3. Spring PetClinic - the Spring sample PetClinic application ported to GigaSpaces XAP platform.
4. Integration demos - This demonstration package showcases the very rich interoperability and integration capabilities of GigaSpaces XAP, as testable, end-to-end solutions.
